I was planning on writing something witty about planting my rosemary, only to find out it had never been rooted. It was just a simple branch shoved into a tin can! I did plant some arugula, and that seems to be coming along nicely.
Anyhow, as I sat down at my desk a co-worker came over to inform our department that my friend in Accounting possibly has cancer. At best, there are two masses in her stomach region, and they are performing surgery on Saturday. After that, my gardening sarcasm seems imprudent. Now I only feel numb.
